Mohammad Abdul Rahman Abukhdair, 25, and Randy Wilson, also called Rasheed Wilson, 25, both U.S. citizens living in Mobile, were jailed Tuesday on terrorism charges. Prosecutors state they prepared to take a trip to Mauritania, in West Africa, meaning to prepare to engage in jihad. Wilson was jailed Tuesday morning in at the Atlanta airport while preparing to start a journey to Morocco, investigators state. Abukhdair was jailed in Augusta, Ga. , at a bus terminal, also starting a trip to Morocco. Detectives state the men fulfilled on-line 2 years ago when Wilson was living in Mobile and Abukhdair was living in Egypt. Last year, prosecutors state, the men were presented to someone who turned out to be an undercover FBI operative. Court documents state they discussed that they had currently made a plan to wage jihad overseas.
